Only 40 minutes from Quebec City’s limits, Mont-Sainte-Anne is the perfect place to sneak in some laps day or night.
With 77 trails, there’s more than enough circles, squares and diamonds to get your adrenaline pumping.
Warm up your ski legs on Le Chemin du Roy, a 5.7 km run which starts on the north side. From here, work your way towards La Dolce Vita and cut across to L’Express. Or, if steep and deep is preferred, stick to the south side where there are plenty of options.
Catering to the freestyle crowd, MSA has a beginner terrain park located on the bunny hill, while their main XL park on La Grande Allée houses 40 features. Guests can even test their luck on the boardercross course, complete with rollers and table tops. For only $8 you can ski tour up to the summit, or try an array of leisurely activities such as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing or fat biking.
When summer rolls around, take a scenic gondola ride up the mountain and explore 42 km of hiking trails, or enjoy a game of disc golf with friends. Cyclists can tackle the resorts 110 km network of cross-country trails, or 25 km of downhill trails which includes a 3 km World Cup run. Beginners can get a feel for the sport by riding the pump track located right at the base of the mountain. This past summer, MSA even hosted one of the tour stops on the Gran Fondo Eco cycling race series.
